Lazio's Djibril Cisse: It is too soon to talk about our Scudetto chances
The French striker was coy when asked about his side's title chances and added that he wishes to return to Ligue 1 before he puts an end to his career.
Cisse has put a dampener on title talk, but admitted that his side have gotten off to an impressive start in 2010-11.
"It is a bit too soon to talk about Scudetto, of course we have made a good start to the season," he is quoted by Tuttomercato as saying.
"We will see if we can make the difference against our direct rivals."
The 30-year-old admitted he is still trying to adapt to coach Edy Reja's system and noted he is not worried about his goal drought.
"The coach makes me play on the right, I do not do the same moves as when I was playing in Greece," Cisse added.
"Now, when I get to the edge of the box or the line, I have to pass the ball. In the future, I must do other things besides running fast and shooting.
"I still have chances to score, but I have a hard time to find the back of the net in the winter. But I have already made six assists, I console myself with this."
The France international revealed he wants to return to his homeland before hanging up his boots.
"I will return to France to finish my career," he added. "To score my 100th goal in Ligue 1. I would regret not doing it when I am so close."
