Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed his excitement at the opportunity of facing former club AC Milan in a friendly match on January 4.
The 52-year-old, who was appointed as the new trainer of the Ligue 1 leaders on Friday, says that although the fixture will play a major role in helping him understand his new squad better, he admits playing against his former club is a mouthwatering prospect.
"The Rossoneri will be a major test," said Ancelotti. "These days will be critical for me to understand our style of play and the quality of my players.
"I must admit, though, it will be a little strange to face AC Milan, I'm excited," he continued. "I have fond memories of my time spent in Milan."
The match, which takes place in Dubai, has a scheduled kick-off of 15.30CET at Al Ahli's Rashid Stadium.
