Luis Suarez sweats on FA decision

LUIS SUAREZ expects to find out the result of his race-row case today - more than TWO MONTHS after the incident at Anfield.

A three-man FA panel failed to reach a verdict on Friday over claims racist language was used by the Liverpool star at Manchester United's Patrice Evra.

Talks continued over the weekend and the Uruguay international could find out this afternoon if he faces any punishment.
The striker - nicknamed Mr Jinxed by Kop pals after hitting the woodwork FIVE TIMES this season - gave evidence at the disciplinary hearing last week over his October 15 clash.
If found guilty he could be banned, fined or both.
Suarez and Evra have both spoken publicly since the row erupted after the 1-1 draw.
Evra said: "There are cameras. You can see Suarez say a certain word to me at least 10 times."
But Suarez, 24, insisted: "I called him something his team-mates at Manchester call him and even they were surprised by his reaction."
Suarez was charged last month and had the allegations hanging over him while he continued to play for his club.
The FA are also looking into footage of him at Craven Cottage when he appeared to make a one-fingered salute to Fulham fans after his side's 1-0 defeat.
Craig Bellamy cannot believe how unlucky Suarez has been since his £24million arrival on Merseyside.
The Uruguayan rattled another two efforts against the woodwork in Sunday's 2-0 win at Aston Villa.
And Welsh striker Bellamy said: "I've not seen a forward quite like him ability-wise and for luck as well — he constantly hits either the post or the bar!
"He could be on a lot more goals than what he is, but performance-wise is enough for us. The way he goes about his business, he is a credit to us."
Liverpool have now won five away matches this season — as many as they did in the whole of last term.
Bellamy believes the work they do under boss Kenny Dalglish is starting to bear fruit.
He added: "We work hard in training on keeping our shape, working hard for each other and closing the gap between the lines.
"With players like Luis in attack, we do have an opportunity to win a lot more games than we lose.
"We are part of an incredible football club. To represent this club is a privilege, but you do have to carry a certain responsibility and style of play. Fortunately we have a lot of players who deserve to play at this club."
