Chelsea midfielder Ramires has hailed the quality of coach Andre Villas-Boas, claiming that the Portuguese can become the best in the game.
The 34-year-old took charge of the Premier League giants in the summer after guiding Porto to an impressive treble in 2010-11, winning the Portuguese Liga, Portuguese Cup and Europa League.
Villas-Boas has come under fire at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea lie in fourth position in the Premier League, 11 points off the top of the table, but Ramires is confident that the coach has all the ingredients to make his mark at the club.
"I already knew him from my days in Portugal, but not personally," he told Arena SporTV. "He treats every player equally, regardless of who they are.
"He has everything to be as good as [Jose] Mourinho or even better. Of course, in order for that to happen, we need to help him, too.
"He has everything to be the best coach in the world. I can say that he is one of the best coaches I have had in my career."
The Brazil international, who joined Chelsea in 2010, then credited Villas-Boas for his good form this season.
"His arrival at Chelsea has contributed a lot to what I am experiencing right now," Ramires added.
